Open .minecraft and then open the resourcepacks folder.
Slime chunks are notoriously hard to find in 1.12.2. This specific X-Ray pack doesn't care about diamonds as much. It specifically recolors and Redstone ore to neon magenta, while making deepslate (or stone) fully transparent. 1122 xray texture pack best
