Unlike the original Stree, who abducted men at night, Sarkata is a monstrous, headless entity who specifically targets modern, independent women. The narrative follows the returning ensemble cast—Vicky (Rajkummar Rao), Bittu (Aparshakti Khurana), and Jana (Abhishek Banerjee)—as they team up with the mysterious Rudra (Pankaj Tripathi) to uncover the legend of this new monster. Their quest is further complicated by the return of the original "Stree" (Shraddha Kapoor), whose intentions remain ambiguous.
