This file is roughly 200 MB. It contains all the system libraries the emulator needs – it is the closest legal equivalent to a “PS3 BIOS.”
In the emulator menu, click File → Install Firmware . Select the PS3UPDAT.PUP file you previously extracted from Sony’s official update (or, if you dumped correctly, use the installer tool).
