Concert band is a transposing instrument minefield. A "broken" PDF might have an Eb alto sax part that was originally scanned from a C score. Without correction, your saxophonist will play in the wrong key. A fixed part confirms the key signature matches the instrument.
Notes, dynamics, and articulations must not overlap. If the original was on one page, the fixed version should fit on one page without being too small.
