Resident Evil 3 Remake is a high-polish, action-focused survival horror game that delivers an intense, cinematic experience but fails to honor the original’s length, depth, and replayability. It is best enjoyed as a complementary title to RE2 Remake , ideally purchased on sale or as part of a bundle. For newcomers to the series, it offers a thrilling but brief taste of Racoon City’s fall. For veterans, it remains a point of contention—a well-crafted but incomplete remake.

To bolster the package, Capcom bundled the game with Resident Evil Resistance, an asymmetrical 4v1 multiplayer mode. In Resistance, four survivors must complete objectives to escape a map while a single "Mastermind" places traps and summons monsters to stop them.
