This paper examines the performative identity of Saeko Matsushita, a Japanese adult video actress, as presented in REBD-422, a notable video in which she stars. Through a critical discourse analysis of the video, as well as an exploration of Saeko's broader cultural presence, this research reveals the ways in which she embodies and subverts traditional notions of femininity, beauty, and performativity. By situating Saeko's work within the context of Japanese popular culture and feminist theory, this paper argues that her performative identity offers a complex and multifaceted exploration of female beauty, desire, and agency.
