Julio dreams of escaping to Spain, where a vague job offer promises stability. But to buy a plane ticket, he needs money. To get money, he must sell his beloved vintage bandoneón (a type of concertina essential to tango). The film follows his moral descent and surprising rediscovery of love through Marina (Marina Bellati), a fiery younger woman who challenges his defeatist worldview.
