The “Exclusive” aspect also refers to the seamless integration with the Switch’s portable mode. While an XCI requires the cartridge slot, the NSP allows you to switch from a 4K TV (docked) to handheld mode at 720p without interrupting a dogfight. Being able to play Anchorhead Raid on a cross-country flight is an experience exclusive to the NSP digital ecosystem.
Draw distance is reduced. You won't see ground targets until you are about 8,000 feet out. Also, the game runs at a locked 30fps (vs 60fps on other consoles). However, for a handheld simulation of Mach 2 dogfights, the fluidity is impressive. The team used "motion blur" effectively to hide the frame pacing.
