As Vasu uncovers the truth of his past life, he realizes that the murder he is accused of in the present is directly connected to unfinished business from 40 years ago. The film masterfully cuts between the vibrant, politically charged 1970s and the cold, cynical present, building towards a cathartic and justice-driven climax.
