Later versions (2100+) introduced support for newer, more complex QLC (Quad-Level Cell) NAND chips but simultaneously removed support for older, highly stable MLC (Multi-Level Cell) and TLC chips. Ver 2094 sits perfectly at the intersection, supporting both legacy SLC drives and early TLC drives.
