: This is common on 64-bit systems even when the driver is present. Ensure you are using the BB5 tab for most modern (for the time) Nokia flashing.

When flashing devices that won't power on, ensure the "Manual Flash" and "Dead USB" options are checked in the BB5 tab of the JAF software.
